There has been quite a bit of media coverage of late regarding technology and communication – with recent studies revealing the impact ‘screen time’ can have on a child’s skills in learning and communicating. I’m of the view that technology can be a very useful tool for our children IF we’re prepared to sit alongside our kids as they access, play, develop, imagine and create. For it is the conversation (and not the application) that makes the difference.
